Divisibility rule by 7 

Here’s the rule: 

Remove the last digit of the #, double that digit and then subtract it from the rest of the number (not including the digit which was removed). If you get a number divisible by 7, then your original # is divisible by 7!

For example: 273: Take the last digit 3, double it to get 6, and

then subtract it from 27: 27 – 6 = 21.

This rule is easier than the one I learned, I found it in a cool new math help book by Danica McKellar, entitled Math Doesn't Suck.  She also wrote another book called Kiss My Math.  All you junior high kids who struggle with math should check these titles out.
